Information for media representatives, who intend to cover the Inauguration ceremony of Georgia’s President

All journalists who intend to cover the Inauguration ceremony of Georgia’s President-elect Ms. Salome Zurabishvili must apply to the Georgian Foreign Ministry via e-mail ([email protected]) and submit valid credentials until Thursday 13 December 2018, 09:00 pm. 

Required documents:

Letter of assignment on official letterhead of a media organization signed by the Publisher/Assignment Editor, Editor-in-chief or Bureau Chief, specifying the name and functional title of the journalist.

Photocopy of a valid press card/work pass;

Photocopy of passport/national ID card;

List of the equipment;

Media representatives are responsible for their own travel and accommodation arrangements. Transfer from Georgia’s capital Tbilisi to Telavi and return on the same day will be organized by the Foreign Ministry. Media arrangements have been made to allow media to effectively cover the event within the space constraints.
