Entry Rules for Foreign Citizens Traveling to Georgia
Citizen of any foreign country, traveling from any country, via any route (by air, land and sea) may enter Georgia under following conditions.

On 31 March, Georgia marks 30th anniversary of the Independence Referendum Day
The referendum was held on entire territory of Georgia, including Abkhazia and Tskhinvali regions. The people of Georgia voted with overwhelming majority for the restoration of independence in accordance with the Act of Declaration of Independence of Georgia of 26 May 1918. This laid the solid foundation for building a free, independent, and democratic European country.
By the decision of the Government of Georgia Covid-19 vaccines will become available for the population residing in Georgia’s occupied regions of Abkhazia and South Ossetia.
Henceforth, medical personnel residing in the occupied regions of Georgia will be able to get vaccinated along with individuals of the eligible age-group on Georgian-controlled territory.

Priorities of the Georgian Presidency of the Committee of Ministers of the Council of Europe
From 27 November 2019 to 15 May 2020, Georgia becomes the Chair of the Committee of Ministers of the Council of Europe. For the first time in the history of the country, Georgia assumes the presidency of the international organization thus being granted the opportunity to contribute to upholding the values and principles of the Council of Europe.
